Have you thought about the NPORS accreditation?

As an employer there is a legal duty for you to ensure that your employees are adequately trained to operate any piece of work equipment to a safe standard.

NPORS is a flexible way to maintain standards within your workforce. Assessments can take place with your machinery/equipment, on your site. This helps to keep down the cost down and limits days away from site. Alternatively this can be completed at a centre if you do not have the appropriate space or plant.

Both Novice and experienced worker routes are available for a large variety of categories. These include:

Lift Trucks

Accessing equipment

Crane/lifting

Earthmoving machinery

Street Works

Tranportation

Rail

Health and safety related courses

Small Equipment

NPORS cards with CSCS Logo

Did you know that you can now apply for your NPORS card with the CSCS logo on. Please note that operators will have to supply proof of having passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental touch screen test within the two years prior to application for the card..

To convert your trained operator card (Valid for 2 years) to a competent operator card (valid for 5 years) you have to take the relevant (S)NVQ. A CPD record/log book will then need to be kept up to date with your professional development and operating hours for your next renewal.

Call us to find out how flexible NPORS can be to suit your companies personal requirements.

Talk to us today about both your NPORS and NVQ On site assessments.
